Owner/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Melinda and her husband, Richard purchased Meadowbrook Funeral Home in April, 2014 and feel very honored to be serving the community of Marshall. She has 20+ years experience in the funeral industry, graduating from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1997. She and her daughter, Sara Thompson, were in Mortuary School together and have worked together periodically their entire career. In 1997, Melinda and her children, Sara, Billy and Charlie married Richard Gaulden. She is blessed with one beautiful granddaughter, Lexi Mitchell, and one precious grandson, Billy Case Mitchell. Melinda has served on the Marshall Chamber of Commerce Board, Twelve Way Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of Marshall Lions Club, Rotary Club and First United Methodist Church. She feels very blessed to be able to help families during a very difficult time in their life. She loves her community and loves the funeral profession.


Richard Gaulden

Owner/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Richard is a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer and has over 35 years experience in arranging and directing funerals. During this time he has served literally thousands of families. His career in the funeral profession began at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas where he was a funeral director for 28 years prior to coming to Marshall in 2009. He is very involved with many community events serving as one of the Leaders for Leadership Marshall, Booster Club, Lions Club, Chamber Ambassador, serves on the Board of Directors for Marshall Chamber of Commerce and is a member of First United Methodist Church in Marshall. He married Melinda and her children, Sara, Billy and Charlie in 1997. The highlight of his life is being "Papa" to their granddaughter, Lexi and grandson, Case. Richard and Melinda bought Meadowbrook Funeral Home in April, 2014 and are very happy to live and work in Marshall, Texas. It is a privilege and honor for Richard to assist families when they have had a loss.


Joe Raiborn

General Manager/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Joe Raiborn joins Meadowbrook Funeral Home as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer with 32 years in the funeral industry. Joe is joining Meadowbrook as the General Manager and is looking forward to working with the Meadowbrook family to assist the families of Marshall and surrounding communities. Joe and his wife, Regina Morris Raiborn, have been married for 15 years and have twin daughters, Jaedon and Kaedon, who are 13 years old.  Joe is an ordained minister with the Assembly of God Church. He has a Master of Arts in Urban Ministry. Joe’s ministerial experience includes lead pastor, youth ministry, volunteer Chaplain for Pasadena Fire Department and Regional Director of Spiritual Care for Harbor Hospice in Houston. He has 20 years of experience as a volunteer firefighter / police officer. His heart’s desire is to serve others. Every family experiences the loss of a loved one and needs someone to walk with them in their journey. Joe considers it an honor to be of service to families during their time of loss.

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Curtis has over 50 years experience as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, serving most of his career in the St. Louis, MO area. He and his wife, Sandye have one son, Shannon. Curtis is very experienced in restorative art and takes great pride in being able to present the family with a comforting memory of their loved one.

Funeral Assistant

Kim and his wife, Frankie have been associated with the funeral industry for over three years, assisting in many areas. They are both active with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and are involved with their  children and grandchildren full time. Kim has a servant's heart and is grateful for the opportunity to help families when they have had a loss.

John and his wife, Renea, are long time Harrison County residents. John is a volunteer fire fighter, is a prior Texas State Elks President and works full time at NAPA. They have three children and five beautiful grandchildren who they adore. John is always ready to serve and is a true blessing to the many families he has the privilege of helping.

Debbie Warbington- Rogers

Debbie and her husband, Flint, have lived in Marshall for many years. They are the parents of three sons and two beautiful grandchildren, Audrey, Cole and Caden. Debbie is a full time employee of East Texas Baptist University, possibly their biggest sports fan and also loves the Marshall Mavericks. Debbie loves being able to assist families in their time of need.

Brenda is a lifelong resident of Marshall and loves working with people. She is employed at First Methodist School and assists with visitations and funerals during the evenings and weekends. She is a dedicated, compassionate employee who loves her town and helping those during a difficult time.


Jamie Thomas

Office Admin

Jamie is a 4 year resident of Marshall, having spent the previous 30+ years in the San Francisco Bay Area in the banking industry.  Jamie, her husband, Mark, and their two sons are enjoying the slower pace of small town living and committed to serving this special community.
