With broken hearts the family of Valerie Graves of Bossier City, Louisiana announce her final journey was to Heaven on December 18, 2020.
Valerie was born on February 7, 2000 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the daughter of Gary and Sandy Graves.
Valerie had a vibrant, colorful, and spirited personality with a smile that lit up the room. She was very outgoing and loved everyone. Valerie was blessed with a loving family and friends. She had a heart of gold and would do without something to help those around her. She was touched by any animal that needed rescued and wanted to keep them all. She aspired to become a registered nurse to help people.
Valerie’s greatest joy in life was being an excellent loving mother to her one year old daughter Raelyn. She loved dressing her up and taking pictures, playing with her at the park, and snuggling up while watching movies. Valerie loved spending time with family and friends and her dogs and cats. She enjoyed doing hair and makeup, modeling, and drawing.
She enjoyed music, going to concerts, working out, outdoor activities, and photography. She was eager to travel whether it be a road trip or flight, especially to the beaches of California and Florida. She had a passion for shopping especially when it came to providing for her daughter.
Valerie was preceded in death by her grandpa Neil Moore, grandma Ethel Graves, and uncle Thomas “Tag” Graves.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents Gary and Sandy Graves, brother Nathan Graves, daughter Raelyn Graves, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Valerie was a gift that can never be replaced, but will live on in our hearts forever and through her precious daughter Raelyn.
