Tracy Kent Biddy, 62, of Avinger passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. Tracy was born November 5, 1959 in Linden, Texas to Wilmer Biddy and Gloria Anne (Hall) Biddy. In 1978, he graduated with honors from Avinger High School. Tracy’s true passion was music. His family was extremely talented musically and he was no exception. He was an extraordinary musician and played in many bands on bass and electric guitar. Tracy’s band, Outlaw Republic, was very important to him and he considered them family. Music truly was his life. He loved to play music of any kind. On May 17, 2014 Tracy married the love of his life, Mary Jayne. They enjoyed many wonderful years together, and enjoyed living life with family and friends. Tracy will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers-in-law, Mike Salter and Ronny Homer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jayne Biddy; children, Holly Brady and Dustin Baker; grandchildren, Lexi, Trevor, Triston, and Trenton; brothers, Rodney Biddy (Birdie), Bruce Biddy (Carolyn), and Mark Biddy; sisters, Brenda Bradford (John), Vicki Carrington (Richard), and Marsha McKinney (Kyle); bonus mother, Helen Biddy; step-brothers, Randy Morgan and Keith Morgan; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends who loved him dearly. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Hickory Hill Baptist Church, 125 Main Street, Avinger, Texas 75630 with James Duncan and Danny Ray Biddy officiating.
