And I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord: henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Sister Pearline Mosley was born March 8, 1925 in Jonesville, TX to the parentage of Frank Cook, Sr., and Lucy Henderson Cook. She received her education from Belview County School. Pearline united with the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Scottsville, TX at an early age and later united with the Old Border Missionary Baptist Church, Jonesville, TX where she remained a member until her passing. Her career included working at laundries and in private homes. What captivated Pearline the most were sewing, dressing hair, babysitting and taking care of her family. In 2014, Sister Mosley relocated to Fort Worth to live with her son, John Purvis Mosley, after the passing of her husband, John Earl Mosley, who had been her caregiver.
