Obituary

Beloved father, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, treasured uncle and friend, Paul Griffith, Jr., age 99, passed away in Long Branch, Texas on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.  Paul was born on January 24, 1923 in Long Branch, Texas to Paul Griffith, Sr. and Willie Mae (Carriker) Griffith.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ann Griffith; his parents, Paul and Willie Mae Griffith, and his brother, Bill Griffith.  He is survived by his daughter, Paulette Curtis (Tom) of Long Branch, Texas; granddaughter, Heather Holloway (George) of Woodlands, Texas; grandson, Ashley Curtis (Kristi) of Carthage, Texas; great-grandsons, Allen Holloway (Bailey) of San Antonio, Texas and Hayden Holloway (Jasmine) of San Antonio, Texas, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.

Paul was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall of Carthage.  He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed working his ranch and cows.  Paul was well loved and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
