Obituary

Precious daughter, cherished sister, beloved granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend of so many, Paizley Rachelle Jeffries-Rhodes, age 8, passed away with her devoted mother, Felecia Sarah-Rachelle Jeffries, on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in Marshall, Texas in an automobile accident.  Paizley was born, full of sass, on May 30, 2012 in Marshall, Texas to Bryan Geoffery Rhodes and Felecia Sarah-Rachelle Jeffries.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Felecia Sarah-Rachelle Jeffries; her grandmother, Vonda York; her great-grandparents, LaVerne Davis, Patricia Violet Lawler, Charles Ray Paine, Helen Juanita Paine and Jerry Wingate Jeffries, Sr.; her great-great grandparents, Carolyn Squiers and George Squiers; and her great-uncle, Steven Phillips.  Paizley is survived by her father, Bryan Geoffery Rhodes (Meeghan Nicole York); her mother’s fiancé, Blake Ryan Dunn; her brothers and sisters, Juliah A. Rhodes, Charlie Ray Gibson, Andrew Troy Long, Nateily M. Long, Baylee N. Gard, Braye W. Gard, Brock A. Gard; her grandparents, Darlene and Maurice Manshack, Gary and Sandra Rhodes, Wayne and Kathy York, Karen Suzette (Paine) Jeffries and Jerry Wingate Jeffries, Jr., Richard Alan Hayes and Natalie Rae Hayes; her great-grandparents, Louann Olson, Juanell Cupper, Phyllis H. “Nannie” Jeffries, Raymond Thomas Paruszewski, Barbara Jean Paruszewski, Doris Kornegay and Johnny Kornegay; her aunts and uncles, Jeremy Scott Miller (Kelly), Justin Davis Rhodes (Rosemarie), Nikki Leigh Rhodes (Christopher Ghist), Kristin Vinson (Matt), Natasha Suzette Wilson, Jerry Wingate Jeffries III (Deborah Kaye), Zechariah Nathaniel Jeffries (Megan), Amanda Noel Little (John), Jacob Daniel Jeffries (Meagan Dehoff) and Jared Nephi Jeffries (Kelsey), Blayne Alan Hayes (Brenda Ayde), Darbi Dean Craig (Tomas DeJesus); her great-aunts and great-uncles, Susan Rhodes, Jean Marshall, Ann Henigan (James), Joan Moore, Debra Marshall Davis, James Marshall, John Marshall, Cindy Paine, Ricky Paine (Stephanie), Kristy McAndrews (Brian), Sonya Jeffries Walker, Mark Jeffries (Jan); her cousins, Chance Malcomesius, Aubrey Miller, Landon Miller, Kaleigh Miller, Noah Miller, Jaxson Dean Rhodes, Jordan Thomas Rhodes, Joshua Phillip Edwards, Annabelle Lynn Edwards, Arianna Rae Rhodes, Remington Davis Ghist, Tyler Cale Wilson, Kayleigh Ryann Wilson, Jaxson Nathaniel Wilson, Alyssa Lynn Hughes, Zoey Grace Jeffries, Zegan Nathaniel Jeffries, Zander Leyton Jeffries, MaKynna Marie Jeffries, Shane Blake Little, Grayson Thomas Little, Claire Lynn Little, Karson Lee Jeffries, Adalynn Paige Dehoff, Karlie Elizabeth Jeffries, Braxton Nephi Jeffries, Kinzler Daniel Jeffries, Baylor Sinclair Hayes, Brittyn Rae Hayes, Tomas Andrew Cardona, Natalie Isabella Cardona, Adrian DeJesus Cardona, Zane Alexander Cardona, Courtney Ellison, Lauren Tamplin, Rachael McAndrews, Kolten McAndrews, Darian Jeffries, Mark Jeffries, Jr., Chris Lawson (Dwan), and Crystal Cheatwood; many other family members and friends.  She recently completed the second grade at Tatum Primary School.  Her classmates and teachers there loved her deeply and the office staff knew her well.  We think she may very well have tried to take over the teaching position, and was smart enough to do so…but the teachers just wouldn’t allow “Miss Boss Baby” to do their job.  Paizley was sassy, raspy, bratty, the life of every party and her momma’s little mini.  She was a tiny, little, blinged out dare devil who loved lip gloss, polished nails and the frills of being “totally girly” all the while being smack dab in the middle of a mud hole with the boys.  She could “out-boy” the boys, was our “Princess Tom Boy” and her momma affectionately referred to her as “SassHole”.  She loved to talk, loved to be in charge, had an attitude that wouldn't quit and most times you heard her coming long before you ever saw her.  She was her daddy’s baby and had a special place in his heart that can't be filled.  She loved her time spent with him at the lake in his boat, gave him the best hugs ever and was definitely a life changer for her family in such a positive way. She loved baseball, crafting, blinging, tumbling, sewing, baking, swimming, painting, boating and eating!  Oh, how she loved olives and tuna fish…right out of the can!  She spent many hours trying to keep everyone in line and control all situations.  She loved being around babies; she adored her brother, Charlie and especially loved the time spent with her family.  There was a light in her sweet, small soul and she did not have to live long to live enough for all to see her precious personality.  She was small, but mighty with an infectious smile and her absence will make our world sadder and smaller.  Paizley will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  On-line condolences may be offered at www.meadowbrookfh.com
