Obituary

Beloved brother, uncle and friend, Jimmy Wayne Moore, age 60, passed away in Longview, Texas on Sunday, August 2, 2020.  He was born on September 7, 1959 in Marshall, Texas to Walter Emory and Dreda Pauline (Nunn) Moore.  Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; his sister-in-law, Lisa Moore; his nephews, Wayne Clausius, Jr., Kenneth Ray Clausius, Roger Maddox and Joe Welch.  He is survived by his brother and sisters, Helen Gaona and her husband, Ramiro, Bettie Morin and her husband, Emil, Emory Moore, Susie Hatten and her husband, Anthony; his nieces and nephews, Tammie Maddox, Tracie Welch, Terrie Riley (Kit), Jerry Morin (Alinda), Shelly Stewart, Phillip Morin, Stephanie Huffman (Jeremy), Emory Moore, Jr. (Amy), Justin Moore (Rebecca), Robert Moore (Jackie), Jason Moore (Anna), Albert Richardson, Jr. (Lindsey), Mikel Richardson (Rose), Natalie Salazar (Flaco); numerous other family members and friends.  Jimmy previously worked at Smith Steel until his health deteriorated.  He was fondly remembered for always wanting his family to bring him something to eat, but also wanting them to drop if off and leave.  He loved to eat but was happiest when he had his Big Mac and Dr. Pepper.  He was quite a character with a quick wit, once claiming his most prized possession was his “Isuzu Rodeo”.  The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Robbie Parker, Sheila Watson and Kimberly for the love and care given to Jimmy.  Graveside service will be held at Andrews Cemetery in Karnack, Texas on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00am.  Online condolences may be offered at www.meadowbrookfh.com
