Beloved father, cherished grandfather, treasured brother and friend of many, Hubert David Mobley, Jr., age 76 passed away in Longview, Texas on Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was born in Orange, Texas on March 30, 1944 to Hubert David Mobley, Sr. and Mamie (Jones) Mobley. Hubert is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Mamie Mobley, and his sisters, Flossie Mobley Moore, Vivian Mobley Findley and Oleta Mobley Wright. He is survived by his children, Keith West (Stephanie), Eric Mobley (Corrina) and Carrie Elder (Brad); grandchildren, Remington Henderson, Clorissa Mobley, Tiera Mobley, Alyssia Mobley, Connor Mobley, Leslie West Ayers and Kelsey West; several great-grandchildren, sisters, Reba Mobley Gibson and Nell Mobley Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as his very special friend, Jeanie Maranto. Hubert loved his welding profession and worked in the oil field industry for many years as a Pipeline Welder Inspector. He also loved his horses, western movies and antiquing in Canton and other out-of-the-way shops. He loved to tease folks and enjoyed his monthly lunches in Jefferson with friends, but his true passion was his family and the time spent with his children and grandchildren. Hubert was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
