Beloved daughter, cherished sister, devoted mother and friend of many, Felecia Sarah-Rachelle Jeffries, age 30 passed away in Marshall, Texas with her daughter, Paizley Rachelle Jeffries-Rhodes, on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in an automobile accident. Felecia was born in Shreveport, LA on May 2, 1990 to Jerry Wingate Jeffries, Jr. and Karen Suzette (Paine) Jeffries. She graduated from Marshall High School with the Class of 2008 and was currently attending Vista College with studies focused on becoming a medical assistant. She had been employed as the manager for Gucci’s Pizza for over a year and dearly loved her co-workers and serving the public, never meeting a stranger. Felecia had previously worked providing child care at Bright Beginnings and Little Angels, both jobs she thoroughly enjoyed due to her love of babies and children. She was sassy, always demanding to be in charge, hard-headed yet had a heart the size of Texas, had a personality that just wouldn’t quit and was deeply loved by all who were blessed by her friendship. She loved Southbound Nutrition “loaded teas” and was quite possibly their best advertisement. Enjoying and living life was her party and all who spent time with her wanted to be part of her life, but her true passion in life was her family and her children, whom she adored. She was an amazing mother who cherished spending many hours at the ball park with her children and any activity, sport or event they were involved in. Felecia is preceded in death by her precious daughter, Paizley Rachelle Jeffries-Rhodes; and her grandparents, Charles Ray Paine, Helen Juanita Paine and Jerry Wingate Jeffries, Sr. She is survived by her son, Charlie Ray Gibson and his father, Barry Gibson; her parents, Karen Suzette Paine Jeffries and Jerry Wingate Jeffries, Jr.; the love of her life, her fiance, Blake Ryan Dunn; her brothers and sisters, Natasha Suzette Wilson, Jerry Wingate Jeffries III (Deborah Kaye), Zechariah Nathaniel Jeffries (Megan), Amanda Noel Little (John), Jacob Daniel Jeffries (Meagan Dehoff) and Jared Nephi Jeffries (Kelsey). She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Richard Alan Hayes and Natalie Rae Hayes; her grandparents, Phyllis H. “Nannie” Jeffries, Raymond Thomas Paruszewski, Barbara Jean Paruszewski, Doris Kornegay and Johnny Kornegay; her brother-in-law, Blayne Alan Hayes (Brenda Ayde); her sister-in-law, Darbi Dean Craig (Tomas DeJesus); her aunts and uncles, Cindy Paine, Ricky Paine (Stephanie), Kristy McAndrews (Brian), Sonya Jeffries Walker, Mark Jeffries (Jan); her nieces and nephews, Tyler Cale Wilson, Kayleigh Ryann Wilson, Jaxson Nathaniel Wilson, Alyssa Lynn Hughes, Zoey Grace Jeffries, Zegan Nathaniel Jeffries, Zander Leyton Jeffries, MaKynna Marie Jeffries, Shane Blake Little, Grayson Thomas Little, Claire Lynn Little, Karson Lee Jeffries, Adalynn Paige Dehoff, Karlie Elizabeth Jeffries, Braxton Nephi Jeffries, Kinzler Daniel Jeffries, Baylor Sinclair Hayes, Brittyn Rae Hayes, Tomas Andrew Cardona, Natalie Isabella Cardona, Adrian DeJesus Cardona, Zane Alexander Cardona, Chance Malcomesius, Aubrey Miller, Landon Miller, Kaleigh Miller, Noah Miller, Jaxson Dean Rhodes, Jordan Thomas Rhodes, Joshua Phillip Edwards, Annabelle Lynn Edwards, Arianna Rae Rhodes, Remington Davis Ghist; her cousins, Courtney Ellison, Lauren Tamplin, Rachael McAndrews, Kolten McAndrews, Crystal Cheatwood, Darian Jeffries, Mark Jeffries, Jr., Chris Lawson (Dwan); many other family members and friends. Felecia was loved by so many and while we all wanted the perfect life for her, we have learned the hard way that some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle or end. Life is truly about not knowing and having to make changes; taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what is going to happen next. Our family is better because Felecia and Paizley lived; their sweet smiles, fun personalities and sass will be truly missed and they will forever be in our hearts.
