Obituary

Elizabeth A. Puckett
Feb. 1949 - Sep. 2021
Ms. Elizabeth Annette Puckett of Rison, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday September
21st at home in Marshall, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Homer Hershel
Puckett and Johnnie Rae McCullough Puckett of Rison, Arkansas.
Preceded by her parents, brother Jewel Lee Puckett, sisters Martha, Nina and Faye
Puckett, Uncle Ray and Aunt Ella Puckett, and preciously named Mrs. Clara Faye
(Mamaw) Puckett.
Survived by her five boys Larry, Jerry, and James Brown, Garratt and Brannon Matus.
As well as seven grandchildren Erica Brown, Dalton Brown, Kaden Starnes, CadeeAna
Brown, Gabby Matus, Adley Brown, Axtyn Barto Brown, and one great-grandson
Xander Starnes. Her favorite cousin Mr. Floyd Ray Puckett, cousin Eloise Puckett,
brother Deanie Puckett, sister Tammy Banks, and sister in law Mrs Joyce Brown. Along
with several families, a handful of friends, and all of her four-legged babies.
Mother of five boys, a retired nurse of 42 years, 35 of which were in Home Health Care.
Momma's work as a Home Health Nurse earned her the hearts of her many patients.
She was just as caring as she was professional. Oftentimes, those same patients
became her true friends. It didn’t take much to bring peace to momma. A cold beer, a
fishing pole or two, and momma was right at home. And yes, she was the type of gal
that knew how to catch ‘em, clean ‘em, and straight to the frying pan they’d go.
Graveside Services will be held Sunday October 10th 2021 @ 2pm at Macedonia
Cemetery in Rison, Arkansas. Family will attend church service that Sunday morning at
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Rison, Arkansas. Memorial Burial Service will
be held that afternoon with Momma. Officiating will be done by sister Tammy Banks.
