Beloved husband, cherished son, treasured nephew and friend, Danny Joe Ellisor, age 43, passed away in Longview, Texas on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Danny, affectionately known as “Gringo”, was born on August 31, 1978 in Madisonville, Texas to Bobby Thomas Ellisor and Debbie Sue (Cantrill) Ellisor.
Danny is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester Thomas Ellisor, Frances Ione Silence Ellisor, Grandma Melba, and Harold and Kathryn Cantrill; aunt, Debbie Chaney; uncles, Norman Ellisor and Jerry Cantrill; cousins, Joseph Ray Cantrill, Jr., Ruby Stahl and Roy Wayne Rhea. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 6 ½ years, Wendy Parker Ellisor; parents, Bobby and Debra Ellisor; his aunt that was like a sister, Samantha Allen (Tommy); beloved aunt, Debra Ellisor and aunt, Elaine Rhea; uncles, David Cantrill, Sr. (Lenese), Joe Cantrill (Lou) and Scott Cantrill; mother-in-law, Kathy Parker Hudspeth (Gary); fur babies, Bitty and Jujo, as well as numerous other family, friends and co-workers.
Danny graduated from Conroe High School. He was especially proud of becoming an Eagle Scout in his younger years. He worked for over 12 years for Del Zotto Steel & Concrete, a job and co-workers that he loved. Danny was the world’s best husband…he adored his wife and treated her like a queen. He was a kind, generous, unselfish man who would always lend a helping hand and never spoke unkindly of others. His life was well lived and he was well loved by all who knew him.
Per Danny’s wishes, the family will have a celebration dinner at a later date that will be announced. The family also extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the ICU at Longview Regional Hospital, with special thanks to Jade and Rachel.
