Loving husband, father, and grandfather, Billy Riley, 78, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Marshall surrounded by his family. Billy was born March 18, 1944 in Marshall to Edward Riley and Vera Mae Jones Riley. On March 17, 1967, Billy married the love of his life, Ouida Faye Muntz in Marshall. Billy was a true people person. People were absolutely drawn to him due to his kind and giving ways. He worked for Smith Steel for ten years and then for the City of Marshall for several years. Billy could do anything and fix anything! He loved hunting, fishing and his horses, but his happiest place was in the kitchen cooking. Cooking for his family was truly his passion. Billy will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Rachel Riley and Wesley Riley; and sister, Viola Kuhn. Billy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ouida Riley; children, Patsy Snell (Frank), Billy Ray Riley, Jr., and Patricia Ann Riley; sister, Mamie Hays Harper; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends who loved him dearly. A private family service will be held at a later date. On-line condolences may be made at www.meadowbrookfh.com.
