“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” – Matthew 5:4 On September 22, 2020, we began mourning the loss of Barbara Lynn Voss, 65, of Hallsville, TX. Barbara was originally from Coushatta, LA and called Louisiana home. After a short illness, Barbara passed from this life, onto her Eternal home in Heaven. Barbara was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger and made a friend in anyone she met. She had no enemies, and once you met her, you would never forget her. She had such a joyous and addictive personality and smile. Barbara was the kindest, most caring, happiest woman you could ever imagine. She brightened any room she walked into. If you were ever having a bad day, just her smile would make you forget all your worries. She was a Godly woman, who shared the love of Christ with anyone she met. Her church family was Longview First Church. Barbara was married to the love of her life, Bob, for 19 years, where she gained a son, Little Bobby. Her and little Bobby had an incredibly special bond. She loved to laugh, even when she had no idea what she was laughing at, she just loved having a good time. Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her twin brother Bobby and his family. They had more than a twin bond, he was her best friend. Her daughter and granddaughters were her pride and joy. One of her proudest moments in life was watching her daughter, Leanne, be married to her “favorite” son-in-law, Colton. She was so proud of the woman she raised. She enjoyed watching and hearing about her granddaughter Braliegh’s softball games and was so immensely proud of her. She loved when her granddaughter Skyy would make her artwork and she was so enormously proud of how smart and creative she is. Barbara’s two fur babies, Mimi, her baby girl of 14 years and “Cool” Scooter, who was only blessed by her for a short period, always put a smile on her face. She loved sharing pictures of all her babies and loved social media to keep up with people she had known from years past. Barbara loved and she loved BIG. She had two “step” children from a previous marriage that she considered her own, along with their children.
