Obituary

Anthony Blane Davis,  known to all as “A D” was born February 4, 1964 in Batesville, MS to Judy Davis Crowsey and R. B. Davis. He went to that big fishing hole in the sky to be with his Lord and Savior on January 5, 2021.

A D graduated from Marshall High School and continued his education at Kilgore College. He worked as an Equipment Operator in the oil and gas industry. A D was an avid outdoorsman, his biggest passion was being outside. He loved to fish on Caddo, Lake O’ Pines and pretty much anywhere he could catch a fish. He also enjoyed walking through the woods squirrel hunting with his dog, “Rocky”. A D knew just where to go when the fish were biting.  He also loved spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Crowsey; sisters, Stacey Davis and Sheryln Crowsey; brother, Kevin Crowsey; girlfriend, Leea Longino and family. He was preceded in death by his father, R.B. Davis; stepfather, Bengie Crowsey; grandparents, Earnestine and Otis Dover and Elizabeth and Wilson Pinion, as well as many special friends he considered family.

A D never met a stranger and could have a conversation with anyone. He was open and friendly to everyone who met him. He will be missed by many and was greatly loved by those who knew him.

A  memorial gathering will be planned in a few weeks to re-unite AD with his favorite place “Caddo Lake” where we will meet and share wonderful memories.
