Beloved wife, cherished mother and grandmother, treasured aunt and friend, Anna Roberta Clements, age 80, passed away in Marshall, Texas on March 7, 2021. Anna was born on June 13, 1940 in Jefferson, Texas to Robert Gorman and Lucille (Tims) Gorman.
Anna is preceded in death by her children, Peggy Sue Gorman and Gary Lynn Gorman, Sr., and her parents, Robert and Lucille Gorman. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Clements; daughter, Anna Bowen; son, William Briggs; grandchildren, Amanda Gorman, Gary Gorman, Jr. and Teri Thibodaux; great-grandchildren, Caleb Anderson and Alivia Gorman; sister, Louise Ray; sister-in-law, Gaye Sharon; brothers-in-law, Billy Clements and James Clements, and special friends, Stephen and Chrysse Parker, Suzanne Holder, David Weir, Marilyn Dison and Percilla and Jerry Reed.
Anna was a caregiver in the healthcare industry for many years and loved helping others. She was baptized at Woodlawn Baptist Church and was a member for 15 years. She loved her family fiercely, especially her precious grandchildren. Anna enjoyed hunting (and was a marksman at turkey shoot contests), fishing, camping, dancing and riding in the houseboat with them. She was a great cook and especially enjoyed cooking fish for the family. Anna was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
