Allison Patricia Anderson (Hall), 63, passed away after a lengthy illness on September 21, 2020 at her home outside Marshall.
Born in El Paso, Texas, Allison lived in Marshall, San Antonio, Heidelberg, Germany, Bowie, Maryland, Auburn, Alabama, Albuquerque, San Francisco and numerous other cities traveling the world growing up as an Army dependent.
She attended high school both in Marshall and Opelika, Alabama. She received her higher education at Auburn University and University of New Mexico.
Allison had a large and fun-loving personality. Vivacious and outgoing, she never met a stranger. Allison enjoyed many interests and hobbies over the years. She excelled in tennis in high school and college. She loved fishing, kayaking, horses, cooking and poetry. She was a wonderful and sophisticated cook and was always ready to try anything in her kitchen and share it with her friends.
She is survived by her father, William E. Hall of Marshall, stepmother Sigrid Gustafson of Las Cruces, New Mexico; sister Cheryl Lea Hall Overend of Laguna Hills, California; sister Amber Alexandra Hall of Madrid, Spain; Ann Marie Sharman of Virginia, as well as nieces and nephews, Brett and Tate Overend, Enrique and Inés Robledo Hall, and many cousins all over East Texas and beyond.
Her favorite companion was Pinky, her beloved white German Shepherd that was always by her side. A heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Al and Bonetta Praeger who assisted Allison in so very many ways.
Services will be held at a later date to be announced. She will be laid to rest in Grover Cemetery next to her mother, Jann Anderson Sharman, whom she loved dearly.
