Devoted father, cherished grandfather, brother and friend, Allen Harris Clark, age 92, passed into the arms of the angels who took him to Heaven on September 3, 2021. Allen was born in Marshall, Texas on January 3, 1929 to Johnny Harris Clark and Annie Bell (Pope) Clark. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Clark; his parents, Johnny and Annie Bell Clark; one brother and seven sisters. He leaves behind his sons, Dale Howard and his wife, Joyce, Tim Clark and his wife, Paulette; his daughter, Joyce Craver and her husband, Joe; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Gracie (Penny) Roberts and Dorothy Briggs. Allen loved playing the piano, the guitar and singing gospel songs. He retired from Lone Star Steel in 1991 after 13 years of employment. He loved creating videos with music and loved horses but his true passion in life was his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at Meadowbrook Funeral Home on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:00am at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Piney Cemetery, Harleton, Texas where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife.
