Beloved wife, devoted mother and grandmother, cherished sister and aunt, Alice Ann (Shepard) Bandy, age 61, passed away in Longview, Texas on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Ann was born in Longview, Texas on November 8, 1958 to James Henry and Claire Emmel Shepard. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Billy Shepard, James Henry “Bubba” Shepard, Jr., Buster Shepard, Woody Shepard and her sisters, Johnnie Shepard and Betty Blade. Ann met the love of her life, Donald Wayne Bandy in 1981 and married him ten years later in 1991. She is survived by her husband, Donald Wayne Bandy; her son, Robert Shane Emfinger; her grandson, Michael Shane Emfinger; her sister, Jamie Hillin (Joey); her nieces and nephews, Sonya Hillin, Brandy Hillin, Jennifer Wagstaff (Dakota), Tasha Sanchez (Earnest), Ashley Duncan (David), Amber Cameron (Luke), Juan Turner Shepard (Michelle), J. C. Hillin, Dustin Cameron (Autumn), D. J. Davsley, Chris Davis (Candace), April Miller (Kyle), Dylan Essary and Shaye Essary. Ann is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews, Carson Cameron, Miley Duncan, Kennedy Duncan, Caleb Duncan, Adelyn Cameron, Whitley Cameron, Lyla Cameron, Madisyn Davis, Mackenzie Shepard, Bethanie Wagstaff, Decota Wagstaff, Calvin Wagstaff, Sienna Shepard, Lindzee Shepard, Angel Sanchez; her sisters-in-law, Teresa Sutton (Mickey) and Christina Hall; her brother-in-law, Danny Essary (Deborah); many other family members, friends and her four legged fur-baby, Bear. She was encouraged in many areas of her life by Donald and pursued things she had been hesitant to try prior to their marriage. She worked as a waitress for many years. She loved playing computer games, loved to make crafts, loved riding with her husband on his paper route, loved people and had a heart of gold, but her true passion in life was the time she spent with her grandson and family. Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home with Bro.
