Obituary
Cherished sister and aunt, Adelia Nell Shahan, age 73, passed away in Longview, Texas on November 25, 2022. Adelia was born September 19, 1949 in Marshall, Texas to Curtis Edward Shahan and Mary Nell (Bond) Shahan.
Adelia is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Mary Shahan; and her brother, Billy Ray Shahan. She is survived by her sisters, Marie Gracia of Marshall, Texas, Brenda Dulus of Waco, Texas, Janice Shahan of Longview, Texas, Esther Pursley of Waco, Texas, Margie Shahan of Marshall, Texas and Linda Perez of Marshall, Texas, as well as a number of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
Adelia loved going to church. She was a fan of wrestling and television soap operas and enjoyed listening to country music. Adelia was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A time of visitation will be held for Adelia on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 6-8pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11am at Algoma South Cemetery with Pastor Calvin Speed officiating. Serving as Pallbearers are Anthony Pursley, Kenneth Villeareal, Sr., Cody Wallingsford, James Dulus, Florentino Perez and Kenneth Villeareal, Jr.
