Beloved mother, cherished daughter and sister, and devoted friend of many, Sharon Annette Morton, age 53, passed away in Longview, Texas on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Sharon was born in Marshall, Texas on August 11, 1966 to Robert Hatcher and Alma Lucille Morton. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her husband, Mike Stafford. She is survived by her parents, Hatcher and Lucille Morton; her brother, Rusty Morton; her sons, Robbie Reinert and his wife, Racheal and Tanner Grubbs; her aunt, Dana Morton; many other family members, friends and her four legged fur babies, Layla and Chico. She attended Marshall High School, graduating with the Class of 1984. Sharon loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, win or lose, she was their fan. She also loved Caddo Lake and country western music, but her true passion in life was her family, whom she adored. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Sharon had been a member of the Marshall Elks Lodge where she enjoyed visiting with her many friends and volunteering her time. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 2-4pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, September 30, 2019 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Grange Hall Cemetery. It was Sharon’s request that friends and family attending her service wear casual and comfortable clothing.
