Precious infant, Lincoln Leon Hampton, age 4 months and 5 days, was born on May 28. 2019 in Longview, Texas to Kristen Hampton. Lincoln and his twin brother, Landen, came into this world several months early facing health issues as preemies often do. Baby Lincoln passed away at his home in Marshall, Texas on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Lincoln is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Shirley Ables. He is survived by his mother, Kristen Hampton and her partner, Taylor Bounds; his sisters, Brooklyn, Audree and Sophia; his twin brother, Landen; his grandparents, Robert and Nawal Hampton, Karen and Galen Bounds, Renee and Eric Lawless; his great-grandparents, Bob Hampton and Linda Smalley, Karen Hampton, Lisa and Henry Alexander; Joe Nabulsi and Melva Brilliantes and Glen Ables; his aunts and uncles, Skyler, Jordan, Elijah, Cayleigh, Ashlynn; and numerous other family members. There was a light in his sweet, small soul and he did not have to live long to live enough for all to see his precious personality. He was small, yet mighty with an infectious smile. His absence will make our world sadder and smaller. Lincoln was loved by all and while we all wanted the perfect life for him, we have learned the hard way that some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle or end. Life is truly about not knowing and having to make changes; taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what is going to happen next. Our family is better because Lincoln lived; his sweet smile will be truly missed and he will forever be in our hearts. Funeral Service for Lincoln will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 6:00pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Visitation will be held immediately following the service on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 7-8pm. Online condolences may be offered at www.meadowbrookfh.com
