Hoyle Dewitt Pearson

May 6, 1943 ~ May 28, 2019 (age 76)

Beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, treasured brother and friend, Hoyle Dewitt Pearson, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in Marshall, Texas.  He was born on May 6, 1943 in Avinger, Texas to Clyde Pearson and Juanita (Harrell) Pearson.  Hoyle is preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Reed; parents, Clyde and Juanita Pearson; siblings, Ronnie Pearson and June Pearson; uncle, Robert Harrell and cousin, Joe Howard Harrell.  He is survived by his wife of 26 years, and love of his life, Wanda Gale (Lee) Pearson; his children, Darlene Warywoda (Michael), Marvin Gene Pearson, Michael Anthony Pearson, Trudy Gale Compton (Bruce) and Troy Dean Moore (Tina Lee Moore); grandchildren, Lucy, Anna, Holly, Cheney, Halley, Cody, Hoyle Pearson II, Jessica, Manda, Stephanie, Brier, Troy Jr., Jordyn, Raelyn, Layton, Brandon, and Savannah, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and best friend, James McNeil.  Hoyle was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He loved fishing at many locations, especially Caddo and Lake of the Pines and was a collector of a variety of items.  He had a knack for spotting things on the side of the road, say… “What was that?”, and turn right around to retrieve it.  Hoyle loved people, loved to talk and will always be remembered as a man who could fix anything.  He was well loved and will be truly missed by all who knew him.  Visitation will be held at Meadowbrook Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 5-7pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Meadowbrook Funeral Home on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 10am.
